Run Kenya/Tanzania Safari is diverse, exciting and  blends some great running against the backdrop of  some beautiful landscape besides wildlife experiences in both Kenya and Tanzania. 

For bookings whose arrival coincides with the months of  February and October visitors may opt to participate in Kilimanjaro International Marathon www.kilimanjaromarathon.com or Nairobi Standard Chartered Bank marathon https://www.nairobimarathon.com  that attracts over 20,000 participants.

For every booking made we also support the education of a talented child and also donate books to a school.

Itineraries

Day 1

Arrive and transfer to Acacia Camp Swara Plains Lukenya for an overnight stay.https://www.swaraacacia.com

Day 2

Breakfast followed by a run on the plains. Karibu lunch at the Camp and a game drive around the conservancy late afternoon.
Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3

Breakfast before departure for Amboseli National Park . Stop around Mbirikani for a picturesque run against the back drop of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Afternoon game drive till dusk . Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4

An early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Departure for Tsavo West National Park famous for the “Man Eaters” during the construction of the Kenya – Uganda Railway in the 1900s: visit a local school to donate some educational materials and encourage to take up sports for positive change en route, before another run 5KM in the farming area before proceeding to Voyager Ziwani Tsavo National Park. https://www.heritage-eastafrica.com/voyagerziwani/
Evening game drive till dusk. Dinner and overnight at the tented camp.

Day 5

Early morning game drive followed by breakfast, then depart for Tanzania via Taveta town. Another run en-route: before crossing over to Tanzania after immigration formalities. Lunch in Moshi town the beautiful town on the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro , then continue to Arusha Mt. Meru Hotel for dinner and overnight stay. https://www.mountmeruhotel.co.tz

Day 6

Depart for Lake Manyara National Park stop near the town of Mto wa Mbu for another run 5k . Arrive at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge in time for late lunch and afternoon game drive . Dinner and overnight at the lodge. https://www.serenahotels.com/serenalakemanyara

Day 7

Early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Depart for Serengeti national Park.

Day 8

Full day game drive at Serengeti National Park : 2 game drives and visit to Olduvai Gorge Pre historic site.
All meals and overnight at the lodge.

Day 9

Depart for Ngorongoro Crater after breakfast and stop en route for another run. Check into Ngorongoro Serena Lodge on arrival. Lunch followed by a drive to the crater’s caldera christened the “8th Wonder of the World for its marvels and large animal population.

Day 10

Another morning game drive and breakfast before departing for Arusha.
Arrive in Arusha in time for lunch and spend the rest of the day shopping or visiting a museum and the East African Community headquarters subject to prior approval.
Transfer to the airport for those returning home or to Moshi for those who opts to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro.
