Itineraries

Day 1

Arrive JKIA Nairobi and transfer to Ole Sereni Hotel Nairobi for an overnight stay.

Day 2

After your Breakfast,Visit the Elephant Orphanage where visitors interact and feed baby elephants rescued from the parks following the death of their mothers at 11.00am after breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Ngong Hills for a run on the slopes of the hills . Flexible distances (10-15Km).Return to Ole Sereni Hotel for Dinner and Overnight stay.

Day 3

Early Breakfast,Check out and travel through the central highlands and stop near briefly in Nyeri to be joined by some local runners for supported run with pace dictated by the clients (5k -10k). lunch at Outspan Hotel before transferring to Treetops Hotel the Ark for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Leave for Nyahururu a high altitude training centre after breakfast. Stop at Thompson Falls before proceeding on a 15K on dirt road where great runners like the late Olympic, Chicago and New York Marathon Samuel Wanjiru and five-time World Cross Country Champion John Ngugi trained.
Lunch at the falls before continuing to Lake Nakuru National Park famous for flamingos and also home for over 400 bird species, besides being one of the most successful rhino sanctuary in the country. Game drive on arrival followed by lunch at one of the lodges in the park. Another game drive after lunch before checking out and heading back to Lake Naivasha . Day 5

Early Morning game drive with a possibility of sighting some Rhinos,lions,several other animals and many birds species.
Return back to the Lodge for Lunch before leaving for Lake Naivasha for an overnight stay at Lake Naivasha sawela Lodge. http://www.sawelalodges.com

Day 6

Morning run at Hells Gate National Park (5-10Km) in the company of our team of local runners followed by breakfast at the lodge.
Depart for Masai Mara after breakfast and arrive in late afternoon,check-in into lodge/tented camp.Late afternoon game drive in the breathtaking Masai Mara National Reserve which has been classified as one of the new 7 Wonders of the World. Dinner and overnight at the tented camp/Lodge.

Day 7

Morning run at Hells Gate National Park (5-10Km) in the company of our team of local runners followed by breakfast at the lodge.
Depart for Masai Mara after breakfast and arrive in late afternoon,check-in into lodge/tented camp.Late afternoon game drive in the breathtaking Masai Mara National Reserve which has been classified as one of the new 7 Wonders of the World. Dinner and overnight at the tented camp/Lodge.

Day 8

Breakfast at the tented camp followed by an extended game drive with lunch boxes : The game drive will not give the guests an opportunity to view many animal species including members of the Big 5, but will extend up to the Mara River, scene of the great wildebeest migration crossing area (July –October every year) at the Mara River. Picnic lunch will be served on the banks of Mara River: followed by a visit to a Masai Cultural Village en-route to the lodge/tented camp.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge/tented camp.

Day 9

Depart for Nairobi after breakfast and an early morning game drive. Arrive early afternoon and spend the rest of the day shopping for souvenirs.
Transfer to the airport for the flight back home in the evening.
